VIRGIL HAWKINS FLORIDA CHAPTER

  NATIONAL BAR ASSOCIATION

The Virgil Hawkins Florida Chapter National Bar Association was founded in the 1950s by a group of African-American lawyers who mercilessly fought against injustice in Florida. Today, VHFCNBA consists of a network of nearly 1,000 attorneys statewide with fifteen affiliate chapters throughout the state of Florida. The VHFCNBA Fellowship Program provides access to the justice system for the underprivileged and disadvantaged of our communities. The Fellowship Program is a joint venture between VHFCNBA, the FAMU College of Law, The Florida Legislature and Florida’s Attorney General’s Office.
