Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Virgil Hawkins Florida Chapter of the National Bar Association.
The Free Community Empowerment Clinic is an opportunity for attorneys, legal professionals, interpreters, and community volunteers to make a direct and lasting impact by helping individuals and families access critical legal information and resources at no cost. Many members of our community face barriers to legal assistance, especially when preparing for emergencies, protecting their families, or resolving long-standing legal concerns. By volunteering your time and expertise, you help close that gap and strengthen community resilience. Volunteers will be placed based on clinic needs and their areas of experience, and both legal and administrative support roles are essential to the success of this event.
Training will be provided to confirmed volunteers.
Please note that setup will begin at 8:00 AM, and volunteers on the last shifts should anticipate assisting until approximately 2:30–3:00 PM to ensure all attendees are served.
